Responsibilities
Travel to suppliers and plants to resolve process and equipment issues
Manage multiple projects and lead diverse technical teams
Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for optimal manufacturing methods
Propose and evaluate equipment processes within your assigned area
Direct the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Provide technical support for plant operations
Collaborate regularly with design, product, and manufacturing engineering teams
Guide engineering support groups and vendors
Monitor and evaluate expenditures for processes and equipment
Lead engineering projects with plants and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
5+ years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to travel up to 25% (planned or spontaneous)
Ability to work overtime or off-shift as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Technical expertise in vision guidance and measurement systems
Experience in Body and Final Line processes
Proven leadership experience managing teams or groups
Launch experience
