BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a Senior Principal Network Administrator. This role involves supporting the United States Army Europe-Africa's data and computing modernization efforts, ensuring operational efficiency of systems, and managing network installations and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Conduct AoAs to assess design solution alternatives

Facilitate cooperation among stakeholders to define technology applications

Develop CONOPS and TTPs

Conduct engineering studies

Develop the Systems Engineering Management Plan

Provide analysis to support reviews such as SRR and SFR

Perform engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration, and operations

Maintain operational efficiency of systems while configuring networks

Perform hardware deployments

Implement software according to engineering plans

Installation, maintenance, advanced trouble shooting and administration of existing network systems

Train end-users and respond to user inquiries

Set up network security standards

Participate in major network installations and upgrades

Troubleshoot complex network problems

Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance

Present recommendations on network interfaces and configurations

Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 12 years of experience

May substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree

Relevant experience is job-related work that provides the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform in the role

Working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office

Preferred

Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Regulations

Experience to include classroom work with modeling and simulation

Previous experience supporting the United States Army Europe-Africa's (USAREUR-AF) data and computing modernization efforts

CISSP certification

CNA certification
