COURT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

NEOGOV is seeking a Court Program Administrator for the Juvenile Court in Fulton County. The role involves overseeing daily operations of a court program, managing divisional staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and codes.

Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operations of an assigned court program
Manages assigned divisional staff, including establishing workloads, evaluating employee performance, resolving staff conflicts, and administering disciplinary action as required
Reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and receives administrative directives
Evaluates, recommends, and implements policies and procedures for assigned court program
Investigates and resolves questions, issues, and technical problems related to the assigned court program
Provides directives and recommendations on case flow
Prepares technical and analytical reports and administrative correspondence
Develops performance measurements for assigned staff
Ensures compliance with County codes and all applicable Federal, state, and local laws governing assigned program
Establishes and maintains quality control procedures for assigned court program

Required

Completion of course work equivalent to the academic requirements of a Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, human relations or a related field
Five (5) years experience managing a court program, or providing management in a court system or legal field, including three (3) years supervisory experience
Knowledge of court operations, judicial processes, and justice system partners
Skill in program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and policies and apply them to program operations
Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software
Managing and supervising assigned staff
Communication and interpersonal techniques as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc., sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
Conducting effective research
Preparing and presenting oral and written communication

Preferred

Masters' Degree in business or public administration, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, human relations or a related field
