Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering teams and oversee multiple projects from concept through construction
Develop detailed site plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and parking layouts
Design stormwater management systems, water and wastewater infrastructure, and construction details and specifications
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget completion
Prepare technical analyses, inventory assessments, and professional reports
Develop professional services proposals and support business development efforts
Maintain and grow client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Coordinate with project partners, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
Develop technical approaches and participate in public meetings, presentations, and speaking engagements
Work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 15 years of experience in a professional consulting environment
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively interact with clients, project teams, and stakeholders
Proficiency in CAD design; experience with Civil 3D preferred
Experience with SEQRA and municipal site plan approval processes
Storm Water Management: 8 years (Required)
Wastewater treatment: 8 years (Required)
Civil engineering: 10 years (Required)
CAD: 10 years (Required)
