Responsibilities
Provide cutting-edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teams
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems, that are reliable and efficient
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, and prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Applies appropriate development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools and technology
Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum master and Technology manager
Participates in the ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfaction
Leads large projects as needed
Provides direction, training and guidance to rest of team members
Builds strong working understanding & documenting of the solution being delivered
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Works in Hitachi GMS SCADA system & provides guidance to rest of team members
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of Hitachi GMS SCADA Experience with large systems & different connection setup with field devices
Minimum 8 years of Java programming experience
3+ Years of Python programming experience
Minimum 3 years of Unix/Linux working experience
3+ years of Working experience with agile technologies & Jira tool
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 8+ years
Preferred
PERL programming experience is a plus
