Responsibilities
Function as a front-of-office staff
Update camp schedules and coordinate session welcome emails
Help update attendance
Help create schedule for staff, and keep track of changes
Support unit heads as needed
Help to track camp activities, campers, and supplies
Help plan and organize camp specific exhibits, and performances as needed
Track and order supplies
Assist in organizing camper pick-up process
Model appropriate behavior for campers and staff
Attend to ill campers and contact their families
Record and file all incident reports and calls home to families
Maintain the camp lost and found
Prepare Med bag contents and folders with assistance from camp Administrator
Additional responsibilities as required
Help organize and lead portions of staff training
Learn how to appropriately respond to crisis situations
Create and keep track of staff schedules and schedule changes
Keep track of med bags and room assignment changes
Answer camp phone hotline
Keep the office organized and camp counselors motivated
Assist with medication check-in
Qualification
Required
Highly organized with a strong professional demeanor
Experience working with children 5-14 years old, preferably in a camp setting
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
Have a knowledge of social media etiquette and excellent customer service skills
Dedication to and enthusiasm for working in camp, informal education and youth programs
Knowledge of summer camps
Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
