Rework Test Engineer
Programming.com is seeking a Rework Test Engineer responsible for hand soldering and assisting engineers with prototype hardware. The role involves soldering fine-pitch components and interpreting engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
Responsible for hand soldering of fine-pitch, QFN, and small size surface mount and thru-hole components, using a microscope when required
Soldering of wiring and connectors for probing of PCBs
Assisting Engineers as required to help build and experiment on Prototype HW
Proven experience in fine pitch SMT and thru-hole soldering
Proficiency in rework stations, soldering iron, hot-air machines, and microscope
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation such as BOMs, PCB schematics, and layout drawings
