The role involves collaborating with investment teams to develop innovative tools that enhance the investment process and improve performance and scalability of applications.

Responsibilities

You will deliver time-to-market solutions, helping our investment teams use technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environment

You will help our investment teams evolve their investment processes, to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends, through the use of technology

You will collaborate with Architecture, Data Services and other Technology Teams to improve the performance and scalability of our applications and workflows

You provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary

Required

BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree

Proven experience in a full stack software development environment

5 + years of experience in software engineering and comfortable with a broad set of technologies, including Database development (Oracle, PL/SQL, Snowflake) and ETL

You possess full-stack software development knowledge, understanding of software engineering principles and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions

You have a passion to learn new things, especially Asset Management and Fixed Income investing

You are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approach

You are comfortable deploying Java based middle tier services to AWS
