Responsibilities
Lead month-end close activities, including preparing analytical reviews and posting journal entries across key accounting areas
Perform general ledger account reconciliations and supporting analyses in accordance with monthly close timelines
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting packages
Prepare financial reports and respond to ad hoc information requests from management and cross-functional business partners
Assist with projects related to process improvements enhancing technology reporting tools
Provide guidance, and training to less experienced accountants to ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of monthly accounting close
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience in mid to large complex company environment
Advanced Excel skills are required
Preferred
CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting a plus
Big4, National CPA experience is a plus
ERP system experience is a plus
