Chief Operating Officer
Confidential is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the transformation and operational reinvention of their large portfolio of direct-to-consumer and omnichannel consumer brands. The COO will focus on stabilizing, rebuilding, and scaling businesses while conducting operational and financial audits to drive performance and growth.

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day operating execution across a $600M+ revenue, multi-brand portfolio, including revenue growth, margin management, cost structure, and EBITDA performance
Build and run a disciplined operating cadence across forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and performance management at both the portfolio and brand level
Serve as the primary operating leader for the business in close partnership with founders and executive leadership
Drive a multi-channel commercial strategy across direct-to-consumer, digital performance marketing, brand marketing, and retail
Partner with marketing, product, and merchandising leaders to ensure strong product-market fit, effective pricing, and optimized channel mix across a diverse brand portfolio
Allocate capital and organizational resources toward the highest-return growth opportunities while pruning lower-impact or legacy tactics
Conduct a comprehensive operational, financial, and organizational assessment of a 10+ brand portfolio to establish a fact-based view of performance, scalability, and long-term value creation
Determine which businesses should be scaled, repositioned, stabilized, or exited to maximize shareholder value
Build on a foundation of years of profitability by modernizing the portfolio’s growth engine, brand positioning, and channel mix to support the next phase of scale
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field required
Proven experience as a COO, President, GM, or senior operating executive with significant P&L responsibility
Experience leading scaled consumer brands, CPG, wellness, food, or lifestyle businesses
Track record of turnaround, operational scaling, or portfolio transformation
Experience driving multi-channel growth (DTC, digital, retail, wholesale)
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with founders and executive leadership
Los Angeles–based or willing to relocate
