Responsibilities
Process all product and magazine orders through Shopify
Create shipping labels, pack, and ship in-house orders
Coordinate replacement copies for missed or damaged issues
Manage gift notes and subscription premiums
Forward and coordinate third-party fulfillment orders as needed
Maintain monthly inventory counts and fulfillment supplies
Order office, shipping, and fulfillment supplies as needed
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service via phone and email
Assist customers with subscription questions, renewals, address changes, and account consolidation
Work directly with the Strategic Fulfillment Group (SFG) on subscription submissions, customer issues, and reports
Submit third-party subscriptions via required spreadsheets
Track and document subscription-related issues and resolutions
Serve as a liaison between Covey Rise and current advertising partners
Communicate with advertisers regarding:
Ad specifications and deadlines
Print, digital, and web placement details
Proofing coordination and confirmations
Maintain advertising records, coverage spreadsheets, and related documentation
Assist with onboarding new advertising partners by:
Responding to inquiries
Gathering required information and assets
Coordinating internal handoff and follow-up
Support digital and web advertising placements as needed, including basic coordination with internal teams or vendors
Provide administrative and operational support to the Publisher
Assist with scheduling, email correspondence, and follow-ups
Help organize advertising materials, reports, and internal documentation
Support communication between the Publisher and advertisers, partners, and vendors
Assist with special projects, reporting, and operational tasks as assigned
Answer incoming phone calls and emails
Process incoming mail, deposits, and documentation
Assist with basic bookkeeping support, including check handling and documentation
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Support general office operations, cleanliness, and daily workflow
Qualification
Required
Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic data tracking
Ability to manage multiple workflows across operations, advertising, and admin support
Attention to detail and ability to follow established SOPs
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting print or digital advertising
Familiarity with subscription-based businesses or publishing
Customer service experience
Comfort working directly with executives and external partners
