Director of Sales - Retirement Solutions (S.Jersey, Hudson Valley)
Principal Financial Group is seeking a Director of Sales - Retirement Solutions to join their team. In this role, you will drive retirement plan sales by building relationships with financial advisors and promoting defined contribution and benefit products.

Responsibilities
Drive retirement plan sales throughout the market by calling on advisors to promote the sale of defined contribution and defined benefit products targeted for retirement plans in the 0 - 10M AUM
Build and establish relationships with financial advisors and third party administrators
Collaborate with the relationship management team to pursue additional sales opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
2+ years of retirement sales experience with deep knowledge on retirement products
Strong work ethic and motivation to meet or exceed established goals
Excellent consultation and presentation skills
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, capital markets, and financial service products
Experience with non-qualified plans, defined benefit and ESOP's a bonus!
Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63) must be obtained within 5 months of employment
Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained
