Responsibilities

Plan and conduct regular visits to assigned retail locations, with a strong focus on department stores (e.g., Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s) and specialty retail
Execute visual merchandising standards across fashion, athleisure, sporting, and footwear categories, ensuring presentations are aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for sell-through
Deliver confident, knowledgeable customer interactions, clearly communicating product features, fit, craftsmanship, and performance benefits
Build trusted relationships with store leadership and associates to ensure smooth execution, brand advocacy, and long-term consistency
Capture high-quality photos of displays and floor presentations and document each visit with accurate reporting and insights using ThirdChannel’s digital tools
Share timely feedback, opportunities, and competitive observations with internal teams and brand partners
Contribute to training resources and best practices that support visual merchandising excellence and in-store execution
Identify opportunities to enhance brand storytelling, customer experience, and overall retail performance

Required

Proven experience in retail visual merchandising, brand ambassadorship, or store-level leadership, ideally within department store environments
Background or strong familiarity with fashion, athleisure, sporting, and/or footwear brands
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a territory independently
Proficiency with mobile technology, reporting platforms, Google Suite, and MS Office
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the NYC territory
Flexible availability, including occasional nights and weekends (up to two weekends per month)
