Responsibilities
Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure
Architect VPC/VNet segmentation, routing, and connectivity, including :
Hub-and-spoke models
Transit VPC/VNet architectures
Integrate on-premises networks with cloud environments using:
VPN
AWS Direct Connect
Azure ExpressRoute
Define and maintain network security standards, reference architectures, and guardrails
Design and enforce secure ingress/egress controls
Implement east-west traffic inspection
Apply network segmentation, microsegmentation, and zero-trust principles
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud adoption
Produce clear documentation including:
Architecture diagrams
Deployment configurations
Security standards and incident reports
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in information security and/or network security engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
Strong experience in cloud security architecture, operations, and implementation
Solid understanding of hybrid cloud networking
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Active AWS or Azure certification (required)
5+ years of experience deploying and managing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in AWS and Azure
Preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
PCNSA or PCNSE
