Talent Acquisition Specialist
Provident Bank is expanding its Talent Acquisition team to support future growth. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers and providing an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities
Post and manage job requisitions and execute the recruitment process from opening through offer acceptance
Lead pre-sourcing intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify business needs, confirm requirements, and align on timelines and selection approach
Source and engage talent through proactive outreach and pipeline development, leveraging internal and external channels
Conduct candidate pre-screens and present qualified talent with clear insights and recommendations
Coordinate interviews end-to-end, including scheduling, preparing stakeholders, and driving timely feedback and decisions
Consult and influence hiring managers throughout the process; set expectations and remove barriers to hiring
Develop offer recommendations in partnership with hiring leaders and HR partners, aligned to internal equity and policy
Prepare offer letters, manage approvals/workflow steps, and extend offers to selected candidates
Negotiate and close candidates with professionalism, urgency, and strong candidate advocacy
Serve as a visible brand ambassador, articulating the culture at Provident Bank and why we are the employer of choice
Maintain consistent, respectful communication with candidates and hiring teams, including confidential conversations regarding compensation, status, and feedback
Manage both internal and external candidates with discretion, transparency, and a high-touch service mindset
Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity in the ATS and related systems/documents
Follow established recruiting processes and uphold compliance with policies and applicable employment regulations
Manage multiple requisitions and priorities while maintaining responsiveness and strong stakeholder communication
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
Consultative partner who can influence, guide, and challenge appropriately while maintaining strong relationships
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels
High discretion and professionalism; proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential conversations
Brand ambassador mindset—able to represent Provident with confidence and consistency
Strong organization, urgency, and follow-through; able to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Sound judgment and curiosity—asks the right questions to truly understand business needs
Demonstrated ability to manage full lifecycle recruiting, including proficiency using an ATS
Proven experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, including effective search and messaging, and engaging passive talent to build qualified pipelines
Experience managing compensation conversations, offer development, and candidate closing strongly
High School Diploma
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
