Responsibilities

Perform quarterly valuation analyses on companies and securities using internal valuation models

Monitor portfolio company performance, including financial spreading and analytics

Communicate trends and performance drivers to senior management and report on credit metrics

Liaise with deal teams, finance/operations teams, and external valuation consultants

Synthesize data to support, challenge, and reconcile conclusions, including back-testing and stress-testing

Recommend enhancements to valuation processes and methodologies in line with best practices

Manage external valuation audit processes, including internal controls

Qualification

Required

Strong understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows)

Familiarity with capital markets, corporate securities, and capital structures; experience with financial modeling

Strong financial statement analysis skills

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines with superior organizational skills

Ability to interpret complex legal documents

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred

2+ years of accounting/finance experience with exposure to valuation techniques (DCF, market comparables)

Background in private credit, valuation consulting, or Big 4 accounting firm

Preference for prior credit/direct lending experience

Progress toward CPA license or CFA charter a plus
