Responsibilities

Develop CAD models and detailed drawings for tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions
Design and validate solutions to support throughput expansion and performance improvement
Collaborate with tooling engineers, manufacturing teams, and local stakeholders for design implementation
Prepare complete documentation packages and support formal design reviews
Validate designs against functional, performance, and manufacturing requirements

Qualification

CAD software proficiencyTooling design experienceAutomotive industry experienceProblem-solving skillsCollaboration skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
10+ years of experience in tooling and fixture design within automotive or trucking industries
Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and design validation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment

Preferred

Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations
Strong collaboration skills across engineering and manufacturing teams
