Responsibilities

Motivate and encourage new participants

Create a welcoming environment for new and continuing participants

Articulate the purpose of TRIO to new and potential students

Feel comfortable using the SLCC Catalog and DegreeWorks and class registration platforms

Be punctual and dependable

Participate in ongoing professional development sessions

Facilitate and participate in ongoing TRIO workshops, events, and activities

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College

Guide and support with TRIO Application intake

Do tabling and present in classrooms
