Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Support DOE and nuclear EPC projects from design through construction
Develop and review engineering and design deliverables compliant with nuclear codes, DOE orders, and federal regulations
Coordinate across multiple disciplines to resolve design, constructability, and safety issues
Interpret P&IDs, specifications, vendor data, and safety basis documentation
Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and readiness activities
Provide field, construction, and commissioning support as required

Required

U.S. Citizenship required (federal project requirement)
Ability to pass background checks and meet clearance eligibility, as applicable
Proficiency in relevant engineering and design tools
Strong understanding of codes, standards, and QA requirements
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

Preferred

Nuclear or DOE project experience preferred (commercial nuclear, national labs, fuel cycle, waste, or remediation)
EPC experience in regulated environments (nuclear, pharma, oil & gas, industrial)
