Sr. Director, Executive and Organizational Effectiveness

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of eight organization development, executive coaching and executive training professionals in carrying out team goals and objectives; set team strategy as well as performance goals and metrics; lead team in applying best practices in consulting and coaching; manage staff resource allocation; represent team and function university-wide
Serve as an internal consultant to administrative executives and faculty leaders in the schools and central administrative departments on strategy development, organization assessment and re-design, design and implementation of large-scale change efforts, leadership retreat design and facilitation, leadership development and senior team effectiveness
Drives and leads university-wide and local organization development efforts
Serve as executive coach to high-performing University administrative executives and faculty leaders
Cultivate an environment of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence
Responsible for measuring impact of the work, as well as for strategies to expand the reach of the team
Partner with CHRO’s to plan and execute OD priorities
Serves on the Center for Workplace Development Leadership Team
Represents HHR/CWD on University and external committees
Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of learning and organization development
A minimum of 10 years of OD consulting and executive coaching experience
Demonstrated experience managing a team of professionals
A certificate in executive coaching
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
A certificate in executive coaching
Preferred
Master's degree in learning and organization development or related field preferred
Must have demonstrated ability in the following areas: organization development consulting; executive coaching; organization assessment and design; strategy development; executive leadership development; culture development; and team leadership and management
Excellent strategic planning and execution, team leadership and management, facilitation, presentation and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multiple projects simultaneously
A strong executive presence with the ability to influence, build trust, communicate and work effectively with the most senior levels of organizational leadership
