Antunes is seeking a motivated, hands-on Electrical Engineer Intern to join their Engineering Team. In this position, you will gain exposure to electrical design, testing, troubleshooting, and new product development activities while collaborating with various teams to improve current products and develop new technologies.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and validation of electrical systems, circuits, and components for new and existing products

Support engineering testing activities, including test setup, data collection, troubleshooting, and documentation

Create and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings

Work with cross-functional teams to investigate product issues and identify opportunities for improvement

Use laboratory tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and in-circuit testers during development and testing activities

Participate in prototype builds, product evaluations, and design reviews

Assist with engineering documentation, test reports, and project-related administrative tasks

Partner with Engineering Team Members to support and complete various responsibilities, projects, and/or tasks as necessary

Required

Foundational understanding of electrical circuits, components, and design principles

Hands-on experience using basic electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Comfortable taking initiative and producing high-quality results on a consistent basis

Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a similar discipline

Preferred

Familiarity with CAD/ECAD tools such as Altium, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad, or similar software (preferred but not required)
