Responsibilities

Oversee all RMMCC operations and act as primary liaison with Pace

Ensure compliance with all FTA, DOT, ADA regulations and Pace policies

Available to respond to service-related issues or emergencies at any time during service hours

Manage all segments of the operation including staff recruitment, development, and retention

Required

Understanding of all applicable federal and state laws and regulations (critical knowledge of FTA DOT ADA regulations pertaining to paratransit service)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of the functions and capabilities of Trapeze

Knowledge of telephone and mobile communications systems needed for operations

Knowledge of the geography and street network of the six-county Pace service area, including locations and characteristics of major trip generators and transfer points

Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop staff

Evidence of building solid relationships with supervisors, peers, and subordinates

Demonstrated ability to build and continuously motivate highly effective teams

Successful track record in managing budgets and/or profit and loss responsibility

Ability to interface with Pace directors, elected officials, and all levels of hourly and salaried employees, including senior management

Ability to obtain successful results without supervision
