Rate case support
Oversee and manage employees performing hydraulic modeling of gas distribution systems, gas facility capital project recommendations, interface and support Operations, Gas Supply. Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and Economic Development to achieve relevant Company goals
Oversee and manage employees responsible for maintaining the Gas System Planning Manual, gate/regulator station records and recommendations, and 10-year capital plan
Investigates potential and actual failures of gas delivery systems and recommends corrective actions
Updates and revises value sectionalizing for all Divisions
Represent the company in public outreach efforts, including public meetings as requested
Develop appropriate metrics and reports
Drive a practice of continuous improvement - using data to drive constant improvement efficiency
Perform standard and complex engineering analyses, designs and calculations using standard methodology and principles and other viable approaches. Develop alternate methods or design concepts to resolve problems or to improve processes/services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
Minimum 7-10 years relevant gas distribution design experience. PE license desirable. PMP desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of gas transmission and distribution design
Demonstrated experience in managing large teams
Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience in the execution of strategic objectives
Proven track record of achieving result in high pressure and high-profile assignments
General contract, commercial and regulatory awareness with the ability to balance effective and efficient customer service and project delivery, ensuring maximum return on investment
Track record of effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management
Knowledge of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
