Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of real estate properties
Manage budgets for real estate properties and track expenses against budget
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, such as GAAP
Review and reconcile financial statements and accounts
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
Prepare tax returns for real estate properties
Provide financial analysis and reporting to management and investors
Maintain real estate property records
Communicate with property managers, owners, and vendors
Qualification
Required
Prior/current real estate/property accounting experience is required!
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
4+ years of experience in real estate accounting is required
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with real estate transactions
CAM Reconciliation Experience Is Required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
