Responsibilities
Maintains a competent level of expertise and knowledge of the requirements of the various laws, regulations and rulings governing the Bank's activities. Keeps abreast of regulatory updates through reading, classes, seminars, etc
Assists with all lending including mortgage, consumer and commercial lending -related Compliance initiatives, including Regulatory Change Management Projects, new product reviews, software change updates and reviews and Policy and Procedure approvals
Reviews and tracks WM complaints, along with effective root cause and trending analysis
Assists with Validations of Internal Review Findings
Volunteers for project work. Handles other duties as assigned. Participates on projects, audits, exams etc. Assists with multiple primary or significant Compliance functions
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of banking experience
One or more years of mortgage regulatory compliance and/or internal audit experience in a financial institution
