Responsibilities
Lead and oversee commissioning and qualification activities for dark utility systems within an automated warehouse project
Manage and coordinate multiple construction and contract teams to ensure alignment with C&Q requirements
Apply in-depth knowledge of dark utilities systems, including:
HVAC systems and air handling units
Chilled water and steam systems for heating
Compressed air systems (non–product contact)
Electrical power distribution systems
Lighting systems
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Cooling towers and chilled water loops
Collaborate closely with C&Q and construction teams to integrate qualification requirements into construction execution
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain project schedules, quality, and compliance
Participate in technical and project meetings with mechanical leads and cross-functional teams
Ensure C&Q documentation, execution, and turnover activities meet regulatory and internal quality standards
Identify risks, issues, and gaps related to commissioning and qualification and drive timely resolution
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in commissioning, qualification, and project leadership for dark utility systems (15+ years preferred)
Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple contractors and vendors
Strong understanding of C&Q lifecycle and integration with construction activities
Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, or power generation facilities
Ability to work independently and perform effectively under tight timelines and pressure
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience supporting large-scale automated warehouse or industrial facility projects
Strong background in mechanical and utility systems commissioning and qualification
