Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst
LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is a professional motor racing club competing in the NASCAR Cup Series. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with expertise in accounting and financial planning to manage general ledger activities, prepare financial statements, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes related to race operations, sponsorships, and vendor contracts
Support internal controls and coordinate external audits
Assist in developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for race seasons
Analyze actuals vs. budget and provide variance explanations to management
Prepare financial models to evaluate sponsorship ROI, race event profitability, and operational efficiency
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to align financial planning with racing objectives
Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports with actionable insights
Create dashboards and KPIs to monitor team performance and cost management
Support leadership with ad hoc analysis for strategic decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in FP&A or financial analysis
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities during race seasons
Preferred
CPA, CMA, or MBA
