Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes for reactor systems, components, and subassemblies

Collaborate with design and mechanical engineers to optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and reliability (DFMA)

Create work instructions, process documentation, and production tooling specifications

Support factory layout design, material flow optimization, and equipment selection

Establish and monitor process control plans, ensuring repeatability and quality throughout production

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for production issues

Develop process validation and qualification plans for new manufacturing lines and suppliers

Work with Procurement and Quality teams to qualify vendors and ensure adherence to engineering and regulatory standards

Support prototype builds, pilot production runs, and full-scale manufacturing ramp-up

Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and productivity improvement across manufacturing operations

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and nuclear regulatory requirements
