They are currently seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to provide critical accounting and financial support to their nonprofit clients. The ideal candidate will manage complex financial processes independently and have hands-on nonprofit accounting experience.

Responsibilities
Process SNAP funding and related general ledger entries
Prepare and submit Rep Payee reports
Manage invoicing, collections, and issue resolution for congregate care and Integrated Business divisions
Review, analyze, and record petty cash card activity
Prepare and release assigned monthly journal entries with appropriate documentation
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all entities
Complete monthly general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset system for all entities
Assist with FYE close and audit readiness
Qualification
Required
2+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
Proficiency with NetSuite required
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
Experience preparing reports for audit and year-end close
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
