They are seeking a multi-talented CAD & 3D Printing Designer / Content Creator to support their projects by designing CAD models for 3D printing and producing engaging digital content.
Design
Responsibilities
Create CAD models and technical drawings for 3D printing
Prepare files (STL/STEP) and optimize designs using design-for-3D-printing best practices
Support prototyping projects from initial concept to physical output
Edit and produce digital content (images, videos, reels, posts) to highlight our work
Deliver project outputs on time and proactively suggest improvements or creative ideas
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in CAD/3D software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Onshape, Fusion 360, or Blender)
Hands-on experience with FDM & SLA 3D printing workflows
Ability to capture and edit photos/videos for digital use
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
Available to work on-site in Irvine, CA as needed per project
Preferred
Experience in design-for-additive-manufacturing (tolerances, print orientation, assembly fit)
Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for content editing
Portfolio showing CAD models, 3D printed projects, and creative media work
Prior contractor or freelance experience with timely delivery of project-based work
