Senior LevelPrince Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes for aerospace components using CNC machining and other advanced technologies
Lead process optimization projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry regulations and customer requirements
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to support production and new product introduction (NPI)
Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to establish and document manufacturing instructions and process flow
Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support troubleshooting of manufacturing challenges
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process FMEAs, control plans, and capability studies
Participate in the selection, installation, and qualification of new CNC machinery and related equipment
Ensure all manufacturing processes meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for the aerospace industry
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production personnel
Qualification
Required
Expertise in materials, tooling, and process flow
Experience in developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods and processes for aerospace components using CNC machining and other advanced technologies
Ability to lead process optimization projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and customer requirements
Experience in designing and implementing tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions
