Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for IT innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new technologies and innovation opportunities to enhance business capabilities
Collaborate with leadership to define the vision and strategic direction of the innovation portfolio
Establish and maintain governance frameworks to oversee the lifecycle of innovation initiatives
Define criteria for project evaluation, approval, and prioritization based on strategic value, risk, and ROI
Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment on innovation goals
Present portfolio updates, project statuses, and insights to executives and other stakeholders
Foster cross-functional collaboration to facilitate successful project execution
Identify and mitigate risks associated with innovation initiatives, including technical and operational challenges
Working with stakeholders, continuously adapt the portfolio in response to shifting organizational priorities or market conditions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, innovation strategy, or a related field
Strong understanding of IT roadmaps, governance frameworks, and emerging technologies
Proficiency in project/portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Promotes teamwork to achieve the organization/program mission; win as a team
Comfortable in highly dynamic and frequently ambiguous environments
Strategic thinking and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex and competing priorities
