They are seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects, including reviewing subcontractors' scope of work and developing schedules using Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities
Participate in project turnover meetings
Submittals - Review, Approval, Distribution, and Submission
Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects
Reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work
Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project
Attend meetings and prepare minutes
Develop/track submittals, RFI’s and cost reports
Monitor, assist, and help with the competition of Closeout Documents
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two (2) years' experience managing multiple retail commercial construction projects valued at $5 million and up
Excellent communication skills
Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status
Computer Skills Required – Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to create material take-off's
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Should be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail directed problem solver
Preferred
College degree preferred, but not required
Knowledge of south Florida construction market is preferred
Bi-lingual is a plus
