Responsibilities
Handyman work with experience with the trades (carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing)
Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance
Ability to utilize a computerized maintenance management system that can produce and track work orders, preventative maintenance and track facility assets
Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution
Maintain accurate records of work using a computer-based ticketing system
Qualification
Required
Handyman work with experience with the trades (carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing)
Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance
Ability to utilize a computerized maintenance management system that can produce and track work orders, preventative maintenance and track facility assets
Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution
Maintain accurate records of work using a computer-based ticketing system
Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, drywall, and grounds maintenance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues
Turn maintenance tasks around in a timely and efficient manner
Ability to represent yourself in a professional manner
3+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license – Hiring will be subject to Driver Requirements
Background Check
EPA certificate
OSHA 10 or 30 certificate
Ability to carry and lift 50lbs
Ability to climb ladders
Preferred
Experience working with outside vendors and contractors a plus
Commercial electrical experience preferred but not required
Trade school degree preferred
