Responsibilities
Lead VA/VE initiatives to reduce cost and enhance product functionality and value
Develop, implement, and maintain work measurement standards for manufacturing and assembly operations
Apply motion study techniques and line balancing methodologies to create balanced and efficient production lines
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to implement operational improvements
Lead process improvement, facility transformation, and technology transfer initiatives
Validate manufacturing layouts to ensure ergonomics, safety, and operational effectiveness
Deploy client-specific tools, methodologies, and best practices to drive process standardization
Utilize Standards Pro, LeanLine, and similar software tools for motion standards and line balancing
Determine accurate labor requirements using MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique)
Document processes, standards, and procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mandatory)
Proficiency with Standards Pro, LeanLine, or similar motion study and line balancing tools
Strong understanding of work measurement techniques and industrial engineering principles
Proven experience in VA/VE, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives
Knowledge of ergonomics, safety standards, and lean manufacturing practices
