Responsibilities

Set-up, program and operate CNC machine and EDM machines
Read and work from drawings, engineering plans, blueprints and specifications
Train operators on basis function in order to complete production jobs
Uphold the standards necessary to maintain our business certifications and to maintain good quality standards and practices associated with them
Follow procedures and work instructions
Complete required documentation
Follow a schedule and complete assignments on time
Perform inspections to ensure product meets requirements
Resolve or escalate problems and recommend process improvements
Maintain a clean work area and machines
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualification

CNC programmingEDM machine operationBlueprint readingQuality standardsTraining operators

Required

High School diploma or GED
1 year experience programming CNC machinery

Preferred

3 years experience programming CNC machinery
