Responsibilities

Formulate and optimize oil-based products for dietary supplements and foods
Support additional dosage forms as needed (liquids, capsules, powders)
Troubleshoot formulation and processing issues during development and scale-up
Source ingredients, support formulation costing, and assess feasibility
Maintain formulation records and support QA documentation
Perform and assist with QC testing (GC, HPLC, ICP-MS)
The Scientist (Oil-Based Formulations) will run bench-top, pilot, and scale-up batches
Maintain lab equipment, materials, and documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet project timelines

Required

3+ years of product development experience in dietary supplements, food, or cosmetics
Strong experience with oil-based formulation and lipid systems
Knowledge of natural product chemistry and formulation costing
Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field

Preferred

GMP and DSHEA familiarity
Scale-up and commercialization experience
