Executive Coordinator
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest is seeking an Executive Coordinator to provide high-level administrative, project, and operational support to the Executive Director. The role involves coordinating Board activities, managing executive initiatives, and supporting organization-wide projects to enhance the effectiveness of the Executive Director.

Responsibilities
Serve as a primary administrative and coordination partner to the Executive Director
Coordinate Board of Directors meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up tracking
Prepare drafts of executive communications, reports, presentations, and internal documents
Track action items, deadlines, and priorities for the Executive Director and ensure timely follow-through
Act as a liaison between the Executive Director and internal/external stakeholders as directed
Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information
Coordinate and execute special projects at the direction of the Executive Director
Develop project timelines, task lists, and tracking tools to support cross-department initiatives
Monitor progress, identify gaps or delays, and proactively communicate updates
Support internal process improvement and documentation efforts
Assist with planning and execution of organization-wide initiatives as assigned
Maintain accurate data and records related to Board activities, executive projects, and organizational initiatives
Support basic reporting, data tracking, and document management across shared systems
Assist with data hygiene, file organization, and internal dashboards or trackers
Support expense tracking, documentation, and administrative workflows as assigned
Support internal communications on behalf of the Executive Director, including drafting internal updates and coordinating logistics
Assist with maintaining internal calendars, shared documents, and collaboration tools
Support technology-related projects or system improvements as directed
Provide basic IT coordination support, including:
Troubleshooting minor technology issues
Coordinating with external IT vendors
Communicating system updates or outages to staff
Assist with other projects, administrative tasks, or communications-related duties as needed to support RMHC INW’s mission
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in executive support, administrative coordination, operations, or project management, or nonprofit work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience supporting senior leadership and/or working with a board is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, shared drives, and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, etc.)
Tech-comfortable, with the ability to assist with basic IT coordination and troubleshooting
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
