Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a high-growth, technology-enabled financial services firm and digital family office. They are seeking a Director of Advisor Recruiting to lead outreach and relationship development with advisors and RIA teams nationwide, owning the lifecycle of advisor recruitment and shaping the firm’s growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
Own the nationwide advisor recruiting strategy, including proactive outreach, pipeline development, and long-term relationship cultivation
Build deep trust with advisory teams, guiding them through the exploration, due diligence, and transition planning phases
Maintain and improve a structured, high-touch recruiting process that ensures a premium candidate experience
Expand the firm’s footprint within advisor networks, industry conferences, custodians, and various centers of influence
Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and transitions for incoming advisory practices
Provide consistent feedback to leadership to help evolve product, service offerings, and growth initiatives
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of experience in financial services sales or recruiting
Ideal backgrounds include RIA recruiting, M&A, wholesaling, custodian relationship management, or insurance distribution
A deep understanding of the independent advisory landscape, including business models, HNW client expectations, and the mechanics of protocol and non-protocol transitions
Success in leading sophisticated professionals through structured decision processes and securing high-quality commitments
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a consultative, long-term approach to business development
The ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining the discipline to manage a robust sales pipeline
