Paralegal

They are seeking a Paralegal to assist attorneys in legal research, document preparation, client communication, and case management for family law matters.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements
Draft and file court documents, such as petitions for divorce, custody agreements, and restraining orders
Conduct research on family law statutes, case law, and local court rules
Summarize findings to assist attorneys in case strategy and preparation
Schedule client meetings, mediations, and court appearances
Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings and mediations
Assist in the discovery process, including preparing interrogatories, requests for production, and deposition summaries
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in family law
Strong knowledge of family law procedures, terminology, and court rules
Preferred
Paralegal certification is a plus
Experience with family law-specific software (e.g., Clio, MyCase)
