Responsibilities

Under the direction of team members, they learn to resolve minor computer issues

Adequately documents notes and resolution to issues in ITIL ticketing system

Updates support staff regularly on the status of projects, incidents, service requests

Responds to messages according to priority schedule

Under the direction of team members, they learn to support new and existing systems while keeping abreast of technology changes

Under the direction of team members, implements enterprise defined security policies (hardware and software)

Works with team members to identify solutions and perform tasks that accomplish individual and team goals

Gains knowledge of the department’s / facility’s functions

Under the direction of team members, the CFS Intern is involved in a variety of projects that support the needs of the department / facility

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a graceful and sensitive manner

Preferred

Students in Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent work experience

Strong research, organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to teach users

Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a graceful and sensitive manner

Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications

Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
