As a Front-End Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for translating prototypes into responsive web experiences and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-facing features.

Responsibilities

Build and ship user-facing features across onboarding, clinician dashboards, and credentialing flows
Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible web interfaces using modern frameworks
Implement and maintain modular, maintainable UI components with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Optimize rendering, state management, and data flow for clarity and performance in data visualizations
Integrate with APIs built in FastAPI and collaborate on schema or endpoint design when needed
Write clean, testable code using Jest or React Testing Library
Work side-by-side with the team — whiteboard, build, and launch in the same room

Required

2+ years of experience building modern front-end applications (open to strong projects or internships)
Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
Strong grasp of SVG rendering, state management, and responsive layouts
Experience implementing Figma prototypes into production
Understanding of FastAPI integration patterns
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
Awareness of basic frontend infrastructure, build pipelines, and deployment flows
Comfort with Framer Motion or similar tools for subtle UI animations
Eye for data visualization design — clarity, interactivity, accessibility
Must be available on-site full-time
Open to recent graduates or students eligible for academic credit
Must have U.S. work authorization or CPT/OPT eligibility
Portfolio, GitHub, or project samples are required for evaluation

Preferred

Experience with performance profiling and accessibility audits
Prior startup or fast-paced build experience
Interest in healthcare or workforce tech domains
