Responsibilities

Perform stress analysis using complex finite element and classical calculation methods, and support product testing
Conduct heat transfer analyses (analytical correlations and finite element methods) and apply theory in thermodynamics, single and multi-phase flows, and energy systems
Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones
Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Ensure requirements validation, project and product compliance, and risk management
Participate in and conduct design reviews and technical presentations for internal and external customers
Contribute to process development, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or closely related field) with emphasis in heat transfer, thermal sciences, and stress analysis
8+ years of experience performing thermal and stress analyses on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, or similar components and systems
Proficiency in ANSYS finite element software and strong knowledge of linear/static, nonlinear, fatigue, vibration, and crack growth analysis methods
Expertise in heat transfer and thermodynamics, including thermal sciences, two-phase thermophysics, and turbomachinery applications
US Person Requirement: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
