The J. Molina Law Firm is a boutique full-service immigration law firm dedicated to protecting each client's American Dream through exceptional legal representation. They are seeking an Immigration Attorney for their Fort Worth office who will manage their own caseload, collaborate with a dedicated team, and support clients in immigration matters.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Represent non-detained and detained individuals before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
Prepare legal briefs, motions, and filings for a variety of immigration matters
Develop case strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony
Conduct consultations and explain immigration concepts in clear, practical terms
Present strategic solutions to potential and existing clients
Visit detention centers to meet, interview, and assess detained individuals
Manage a full caseload with attention to accuracy and deadlines
Review immigration application packets and make necessary adjustments
Maintain timely and organized communication with clients throughout their matters
Assign work to the paralegal and office clerk and provide appropriate supervision
Oversee preparation of immigration applications including removal defense, family-based petitions, and business immigration filings
Collaborate with the managing attorney and broader firm team to support firm goals and client service standards

Required

Licensed to practice law in the United States and in good standing
Fluent in English and Spanish
Strong professional writing skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, OneDrive, and Outlook
Comfortable engaging with clients and government officials
Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable
High-level interpersonal skills and a sincere interest in helping others
Desire to grow professionally and excel as an immigration attorney

Preferred

Immigration law experience preferred, candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered based on skill set, readiness, and growth potential
