Responsibilities

Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, modification, and upgrades of agency computer systems supporting health services

Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations to support fiscal-year calculations, expenditure rollups, and audit-ready reporting

Design and implement data models and backend schemas to support dashboard architecture

Create and maintain monthly snapshot architectures, workflow diagrams, and data flow documentation

Develop and update technical documentation, system definitions, and data dictionaries

Integrate dashboards with supporting backend systems, including electronic document management systems (EDM) and geographic information systems (GIS)

Collaborate with data analysts, system integration teams, and program stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective data visualization

Monitor backend system processes, troubleshoot issues, and resolve customer-reported problems

Mentor junior developers and support agency-wide Power BI initiatives

Provide administrative documentation and project-related communications

Adhere to IT application development standards and best practices

Perform other duties as assigned by IT leadership

3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI

3+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation

1+ year of experience with project management

1+ year of experience with data modeling

Preferred
