Responsibilities
Organizing, supervising, leading and instructing recreation and sporting activities at a recreation, community center, or sports facility
Planning, scheduling and coordinating special events, league play and tournaments at the City's athletic facilities and sports complexes
Setting up equipment and facilities for sports, recreation and special events
Exercising supervision over subordinate personnel
Qualification
Required
High school diploma from a school accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or GED certificate issued by the appropriate state agency
Minimum of two (2) years experience in activities such as organizing and conducting recreation and/or social programs in a neighborhood services position
Valid driver's license
Preferred
College degree (desired) or equivalent combination of education
