Responsibilities

Prepare the department leave reports
Delegate phone calls for county service staff
Answer any phone calls that roll over from the director’s position
Send certification letters to those who complete the Appraiser Recertification classes yearly
Work on tasks assigned by the director and the deputy director
Know Motor Vehicle title and registration, as well as the homestead, real, and personal property laws, rules, and regulations
Pay attention to detail, manage time, and work well with co-workers to complete daily tasks
Handle all job duties in a timely and efficient manner

Required

Excellent phone etiquette and strong written communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply motor vehicle title, homestead, real and personal property and registration laws, policies, and procedures

Demonstrate and practice ethical behavior and confidentiality
Maintain a courteous and friendly attitude when interacting with customers
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
An outstanding work ethic
Self-motivated

Preferred

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 4 years of experience
1 year of customer service experience (Preferred)
