Daily posting of charges, payments, adjustments, rejections
Efficiently work claim edits to facilitate clean claims submission
Assist patients, caregivers, and insurance carriers with account questions using approved policies
Handle correspondence and phone calls to resolve billing/claims questions/rejections
Work with the team to maintain assigned account receivable goals
Continued medical billing education to remain current with payer changes
Maintain confidentiality with patient information
Other assigned projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of one year billing experience, comprised of all insurance carriers
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with electronic billing systems, programs and applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in team environment
Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred
EPIC experience
