Responsibilities

Serve as the primary recruiter/salesperson for WVU College of Creative Arts and Media online programs
Actively attract inquiries, meeting predetermined goals to achieve ROI for marketing expenditures
Manage inquiry tracking by ensuring automated leads populate the designated Google Sheets and by reviewing all manual sources to identify and enter new leads
Track and monitor recruitment metrics. Perform ongoing analysis and adjust recruitment plans, practices and strategies to achieve established program enrollment goals
Execute lead generation campaigns for the College of Creative Arts and Media online programs
Build personal relationships with prospectives students to deliver exceptional customer service through diverse communications channels in support of their journey from prospect through initial course enrollment
Provide consistent engagement through the admissions and course enrollment process to prospective and admitted students via phone, mail, social media and personal interactions
Plan and conduct recruitment activities both on and off campus (including exhibitions at select tradeshows and conferences)
Support student retention by assisting applicants throughout the entire enrollment process, from application to transition to academic advisor, ensuring a seamless handoff and an exceptional student experience
Maintain current knowledge of the changing needs and concerns of potential online adult learners. Develop recruiting materials to address these concerns
Develop, execute, and track post-promotional results of recruitment activities that increase sales; analyze results and provide recommendations. Identify potential barriers within the admission process and initiate steps to resolve
Accurately and effectively manage a high volume of data and electronic record keeping
Perform other duties and activities as designated by the director and/or assistant director

Required

Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Data Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field or master's degree in progress with commensurate relevant professional experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education
A minimum of three (3) years of experience involving professional work of an independent nature that demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to creatively solve problems
A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in sales, customer acquisition and/or retention, or recruiting/advising role or work experience in public relations, integrated marketing communications or related field (advertising, marketing, communication)
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment
Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, results-oriented attitude
Superior ability to approach people and converse effectively regarding online education
Demonstrated success in a sales/outcome-focused role
Demonstrated ability to provide and maintain exceptional customer service
Demonstrated ability to function with a high degree of independent judgment and personal initiative to identify problems, execute plans, manage concurrent/overlapping and sometimes challenging deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication. Superior speaking, writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to travel as needed
Ability and willingness to work evenings or weekends as necessary
Ability to set goals, monitor performance to achieve results, and meet deadlines. Be willing and able to assist others to do so
Ability to function professionally, sometimes under deadlines and/or stressful or confrontational situations
Ability to take direction with minimal supervision and function effectively individually, as well as part of an entrepreneurial team
Valid US Driver's License

Preferred

Experience in adult/graduate student recruitment with operation of an aggressive, ongoing recruitment plan and student advising
