Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

Member of the Arizona State Bar in good standing or the ability to gain reciprocal admission within 30 days of employment offer

5 years of experience preferred but will consider attorneys with at least 3 years of experience representing public educational and/or governmental entities

Demonstrated ability to multi-task for school clients and commitment to excellent client service and work-product

Superior written and oral communication skills, research ability, analytical skills, and a strong client-focused attitude

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred

Experience with education-related litigation, including litigation involving students with disabilities, civil and constitutional rights, and charter schools is welcome but not required
